Workshops - Own Your Own PR
Would you like to see your business or brand featured in the local or national press? Would you like to be interviewed on the radio or on TV, or mentioned on the website of top-selling newspapers or magazines? Or would you like to see your blogs appear on sites like The Huffington Post or the Guardian's Comment is Free?
Getting your story into magazines, newspapers, online publications or on broadcast media is a fantastic way to get your message out into the world. PR builds brand awareness, boosts credibility and confidence and brings in new clients. But advertising is costly and not always effective and you may not have the budget to hire a PR agency.
So why not do it yourself? With my help.
I run small group, intensive workshops via live video or in person. Please email me if you are interested in a workshop: email@example.com or sign up to my newsletter below to be kept in the loop.
In the workshops, I show you how to craft a compelling story about your business or brand, how to identify target media, how to write an eye-catching email pitch and how to find journalists’ contact details so you can approach them with your story. I also show you how to blog for sites like The Huffington Post or the Guardian’s Comment is Free section and how to make editors sit up and listen. I share what I've learned about compelling storytelling and effective PR over more than 20 years in the media. I am a former Reuters correspondent and my work has been published in Red, Psychologies, the Guardian, The Sunday Times, the Daily Mail and TIME. I have also appeared on Radio 4, Radio 2, Newsnight and breakfast TV.
