Workshops - Own Your Own PR
Would you like to see your business or brand featured in the local or national press? Would you like to be interviewed on the radio or on TV, or mentioned on the website of top-selling newspapers or magazines? Or would you like to see your blogs appear on sites like The Huffington Post or the Guardian's Comment is Free?
Getting your story into magazines, newspapers, online publications or on broadcast media is a fantastic way to get your message out into the world. PR builds brand awareness, boosts credibility and confidence and brings in new clients. But advertising is costly and not always effective and you may not have the budget to hire a PR agency. So why not do it yourself? With the help of an experienced media professional. In November and December of 2018 and January 2019, I am hosting small group online, live video workshops (maximum 4 people). Over the course of 2.5 hours, I will guide you through the media minefield and equip you to own your own PR. I will help you to: - Identify the most newsworthy aspect of your business, brand, social enterprise or personal story - Locate the best media outlets to pitch to, so that your story has the best chance of success and the biggest impact - Write an eye-catching email pitch or story outline that you can send off to the media, use on your website or in social media marketing - Understand how to find the contact details of journalists, editors and producers so that you can send tailored and personalised email enquiries to the media - Learn how, when and what to pitch to the media to increase your chances of being featured - Understand the potential pitfalls of being featured in the media and learn how to prepare for them By working in a small group of just 4 participants, you get individual attention and one-to-one coaching plus you learn from how I advise the other attendees on their media strategy. This is 2.5 hours of high-quality, actionable content. Depending on your unique business needs, you'll go away with a shortlist of target media and some example email pitches that will be ready to send off, or the know-how to get your blogs featured on prominent sites relevant to your industry. You'll hear why the era of the press release is over and why today it's all about your story. Next small group online live video workshops (4 participants per workshop allowing for individual coaching and support). Cost per person: £250 Dates and times: Tuesday Nov 27, 2018, 12-2:30 pm Wednesday Dec 5, 2018, 12-2:30 pm Thursday Dec 13, 2019, 12-2:30 pm Tuesday Jan 22, 2019, 12-2:30 pm |
